Abbas Rahbi, an assistant to A R Rahman is the most recent who turned composer from the maestroÂs training with ÂSa Boo ThreeÂ. Following him RahmanÂs long-term assistant Taj Noor is turning composer now.
Taj who was under Rahman for more than 15 years is composing for debut director VyasÂs ÂVidiyum Varai KaathiruÂ. The specialty of this film is that it has no heroes. So the queen-bee who will rule the show is our Azhagiya Laila- Ramba! Guess what? The film is produced by RambaÂs close relative. (Call-sheet with big discount rates hum?). Sources further add that Prakash Raj will be acting in an important role.
Rahman is a person who tries something novel. He is a good guru by nature and normally gives quality education for his disciples. He recently unveiled his plans for a first-ever collaboration in music instruction between his K M Music Conservatory and LondonÂs Middlesex University.
